Our educational programs and publications keep community volunteers informed and empowered to make a difference. Special educational events are promoted on the CMA website and through direct communications, such as e-mail, to specific audiences. Let CMA educate your board.
- Board Orientation - A meeting to familiarize new board members with their leadership responsibilities. An association manager presents board resource materials, instructs members on how to use CMA’s online board tools, and demonstrates video tutorials and other features.
- Fiscal Fitness Forum - A session featuring expert panels and presentations about budgeting, collections and investment strategies for HOAs. This forum helps Boards stay current on financial developments and optimize their community’s financial position.
- CMA Association Leadership Forum – An event featuring presentations by nationally recognized speakers and experts in the industry about matters of interest to HOA leaders, followed by questions and answers and lunch.
- Annual Meeting PowerPoint Presentation - A PowerPoint presentation for annual meetings educates homeowners on the role of the management company.
Our Board Connection portal features a library of video tutorials which demonstrate how to use tools such as Board Tasks, ACC review, and other tools. Our Homeowner Connection portal features video tutorials to help homeowners use features such as online payments, ACC submittals, account and violation inquiries, and more.
CMA produces online programs to help busy community volunteers view informative presentations when it's convenient for them. CMA staff members and outside experts in various fields keep boards up to date on essential areas of HOA operation and governance.
Sample a webinar:
Ask the Landscaping Experts Two HOA landscape professionals present advice on irrigation, conservation, seasonal color and more ideas to keep you community beautifully and affordably green.
A customized online resource for your community, providing information that owners most request:
- User-friendly magazine format (viewable on desktop and tablet) which answers frequently asked questions about HOA living.
- Online tutorial videos for owners (these can be accessed from the website and from an e-booklet page also).
- Readily accessible online forms
- The ability to easily find current, association-specific information, such as design guidelines and community rules.
New owners in your community will have access to this information as soon as they register for a log-in. They will receive a welcome-letter from our Customer Care team which will assist them with registration. To view the informational e-booklet, please log in as a registered owner on www.cmamanagement.com or the CMA association domain name. Select “Information Booklet” under the Homeowner Connection menu.
