Streetlights are owned and maintained by Oncor. Residents should report outages directly to Oncor at (888) 313-4747 or by visiting the Oncor online reporting tool. Repairs normally are made by Oncor within 10 to 15 working days.

When are the assessment fees due?
The assessment fees are due biannually on January 1 and July 1.
Where do I call after hours for an emergency?
CMA has an emergency on-call association manager to handle emergency Common Area Maintenance Issues (i.e. gates, pools, irrigation) requiring immediate response after normal hours, including weekends and holidays. Calls regarding payments, violations and other matters should be deferred until the next business day. The Emergency on-call number is 972-824-5159.
What are the CC&R'S?
The Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&R's) are the governing legal documents that set up the guidelines for the operation of the planned community as a non-profit corporation.
How do I make my assessment payment online?
To make your payments online, please login to your homeowner account. (if you have not logged on before, please click on the "Register" button and follow the instructions to obtain a username and password). Once you have registered online, please select the Pay Assessments button.

Construction Defect Update


Dear Homeowner:


As you may recall, the firm, McKenzie Rhody, LLP, has been retained by the Board of Directors for the Avalon Square Homeowners Association regarding construction defect claims.  A letter was sent to each community member a few weeks back providing you with an update of what has occurred to date and to request your signature for the litigation vote approving the action demanding the builders/developers, Tuscan Drive Partners, Ltd , Tuscan Drive GP, Inc. , Ashton Dallas Residential, L.L.C., and K. Hovnanian Homes – DFW, L.L.C to remedy the construction defects in your community.  Copies of the correspondence is posted on this website here (must be logged in to view).

The Board of Directors and McKenzie Rhody has presented at the annual, along with holding two Townhall meetings at the neighborhood pavilion to answer questions and concerns.  However, we are still short in collecting the vote from the membership.  The Board of Directors feels that repair of these issues is the responsibility of the builder entities, not your HOA and they should be held accountable.  Therefore, based on the lack of any meaningful offer from the builders, filing legal action is the only remaining course of action.  The Governing Documents for your Association requires a 75% vote of the Association members in favor to take such action.   The Association does not believe that the vote is required legally and intends to challenge this provision.  However, to simplify the issue in continuing to pursue this claim, the Association seeks your help in meeting this requirement should it be required.  With that, if you have not already executed the attached Ballot that solicits your vote to institute legal action against the builders/developers pursuant to Article 11, Section 6 of the Avalon Square Homeowners Association’s Declaration, I am attaching a copy for your execution.    If you have any questions about this issue, please see the website, and know that you can contact the law firm with additional questions at 469-587-6800.
