High Hawk, a HOA community, is conveniently located in Grand Prairie about two miles North of Joe Pool Lake and hundreds of acres of state parks which offer boating, golfing, fishing, hiking, camping, mountain biking and many more wonderful activities.  The beauty of High Hawk at Martin Meadows combined with the many neighborhood attractions, makes this a much sought after community.

Easy access to major thoroughfares means that High Hawk at Martin's Meadow residents enjoy short commutes to Dallas, Forth Worth or DFW airport. 

High Hawk at Martin's Meadow is served by the Arlington Independent School District and also the Grand Prairie Public School District, which holds the top ranking in North Texas with the State of Texas Teachers Preparedness Index study. 

Holiday Decorations Reminder

Customarily, decorations should be removed within 14 days after the holiday ends. 

Front Yard Landscaping Reminder – Trees 

During our bi-monthly compliance site visits we have noticed a fair amount of homeowners in the community without trees in their front yard. As a reminder, all lots shall include at least  four (4) total caliper inches of tree (s) in the area of the Lot between the front property line and the front building line. The four caliper inch requirement shall include at least one (1) major tree of not less than two and one-half (2 ½ ) caliper inches from among the following varieties ( or an alternative variety approved in writing by the ACC): Oak, Cypress, Sweet Gum, Pistache, Magnolia or Native Cedar Elm. Up to one-half (1 ½ ) inches of the total four (4) caliper inch requirement may be satisfied by the installation of ornamental trees from among the following varieties (or an alternative variety approved in writing by the ACC): red Bud, White Bud, Crepe Myrtle or Holly.
Basketball Goals Best Practices 
Due to an increased amount of unsightly basketball goal equipment in the community, please click here to view the official standards and acceptable use for basketball goals  in the High Hawk community. The policy will be enforced by our CMA Compliance Officers during each site visit.
Resident Parking and Sidewalks Regulations 
As a reminder all vehicles are to be parked, stored or placed so as to not be visible from any street, except for temporary parking in the driveway. On-Street parking shall be limited to  temporary parking of guests or invitees of owners during parties, delivery of services and similar limited to not more than twelve (12) hour time periods.
High Hawk is a very active community with plenty of walkers and runners. All owners are hereby advised to utilize their garage parking capacity prior to parking their vehicles in the driveway. Please refrain from parking vehicles in the sidewalk area as this is against City Ordinance. Per Sec. 545.302 An operator of a vehicle may not stop, stand, or park a vehicle on a side walk. Violators will be reported to the Grand Prairie Police Department. Please do not put your neighbors in that position. Please be courteous of all pedestrians by following the City Ordinance.

New Design Review Guidelines for Roof Shingles Colors   

During the August 23, 2016 HOA meeting, the Board of Directors approved to establish four (4) select colors for all High Hawk roof shingles all of which are in the Earth tones color spectrum per the CC&R’s. The new colors for all roofing shingles applications shall include one of the following colors: Charcoal, Mission Brown, Weathered Wood, and Weathered Gray. Please don’t forget an application is required even if you are replacing your roof with one of the four approved colors. An official updated version of the design review guidelines will be mailed to all owners which will also include photos of each color for your records.
