Our website has been designed to help keep you informed about our neighborhood so that you can feel at home and in touch with your neighbors. Our website has a range of features which will help you communicate not only with your neighbors but with our association and management company as well.
Please bring your lawn chairs and come join your neighbors for an evening of fun and fellowship for a meet and greet with Azle’s first responders. The Azle Police Department will furnish hot dogs, chips, and drinks. If possible, please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Neighborhood Watch T-Shirts and new Boat Launch keys, see below, will be available for pickup at this event. Hope to see you there.
Please RSVP on the Oak Harbor Estates Neighbors - Azle, Texas – Facebook Page or by contacting John Secrest at 817-937-8766 or at firstname.lastname@example.org, Kristen Secrest at email@example.com or at 903-360-0110, or Loyd Hancock at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 817-444-6809.
The lock on the gate at the Boat Launch will be rekeyed during the last two weeks of December. Please plan to attend the National Night Out event on Tuesday, October 4, to sign a new agreement and pick up your new key for the Boat Ramp. Your old key will work until the lock is rekeyed. Also, you can follow the procedure on the website to obtain the Boat Launch Key Agreement and submit it to Michale to receive a new key.
The garage sale will be advertised in advance in local newspapers, Craig’s List, and on social media. Each participating resident must obtain a permit from the City of Azle. To obtain the permit, go to the building down the hill behind City Hall. Cost is $5.00. This is usually a well-attended event and a really fun, profitable time. In the event of a rain out (Rain from 8 AM until 2 PM), the City of Azle has agreed to honor the permit the following weekend.
From City of Azle: Comply with the City Ordinance (Chapter 4, Section 4.700). Obtain a permit from the City (at the BJ Clark Annex Building located at 603 SE Parkway) for $5. One sign on your property is the ONLY sign allowed. All other signs are a violation of city code. Signs may be posted 5 days prior to the garage sale and must be removed 24 hours after the last day of the garage sale. Property owners may hold 2 garage sales per year. The Code Enforcement Department collects and disposes of dozens of illegally placed garage sale signs. Many are posted and never retrieved by residents. The signs litter the right of way and neighborhoods where they are illegally placed. Citations will be issued for the violations. (Permit Clerk, 817-444-4128)
